ABOUT IRIS...
Every person should have the privilege of coming home to a space they truly feel connected to. Sometimes, small changes can make a significant impact on a space. Our environments play a role in our mental well-being, so everyone deserves the ability to curate a space of physical and somatic alignment.
Inclusivity and accessibility are essential to me: I offer a “side by side” decorating service where I do as much or as little as you need. Iris is formulated to provide services for EVERYONE!

Iridescent Iris
I grew up in a home where furniture was constantly moving. My mother came up with new ways to make the room feel and look different. A photo would make it out of the photo album and into a frame, placed on the wall. She might thrift a new throw blanket and place it on the couch. I always wondered how she managed to move everything on her own. She’d slide a towel or blanket under the heavy objects and simply slide them from place to place (no marks! I still use this method). Making do with what I have is something I mastered quite quickly, and I have her to thank for that.
Even with my ability to adapt and create, I remember feeling a sense of unbelonging. I felt very much out of control and out of place in many of the spaces I was in.
My room was my sanctuary. It was me- every inch. I remember color coordination, nail polish stains, posters on the wall, and red lips pasted on my mirror. There was drama, yes. There was also poetry, art, and, most importantly, me.
I believe one’s space to be a reflection of the mind, which is why prioritizing self is so incredibly important.
I was placed on this earth to do many things, but it was not to argue regarding matters of quality of life.
